The Albert Shafsky House Bed & Breakfast is located one block from Highway 50 on Historic Highway 49, at the corner of Spring and Coloma Street. A five-minute stroll takes you to Historic Downtown Placerville, where you can browse antique shops, art galleries and boutiques, or dine at one of the many fine and unique restaurants.
~ From Sacramento ~
Follow Highway 50 East to Placerville. Turn left at the second stoplight (Spring Street/Highway 49). Travel one block and enter the parking area on your right just before the intersection of Spring and Coloma Street.
~ From South Lake Tahoe ~
Follow Highway 50 West to Placerville. Exit Coloma Street and travel straight one block to the intersection at Spring Street. The Inn is on your left, and to reach the parking area, turn left onto Spring Street and make an immediate left into our driveway.
~ From Auburn ~
Follow Highway 49 South for approximately 45 minutes to Placerville. Once you pass the City Limit sign, travel 8/10 of a mile, and you will see the Inn as you round the sharp right corner at Spring and Coloma Street. Make an immediate left into our parking area at the side of the Inn. If you arrive at Highway 50, you've gone too far.
